Shipping and Delivery

Our scents have some restrictions as to where they can be shipped and how they can be shipped.

Due to strict international transport regulations (IATA), we are not allowed to ship items containing alcohol to some countries. If your country is not listed in the shipping options during checkout, please contact us on i info@flanerfragrances.com

Cancelling or Changing your Order

Orders can only be cancelled or modified if you contact us shortly after ordering. If you need to cancel your order, please reach out to the help team at Flaner Fragrance by emailing info@flanerfragrances.com Please use CANCEL/CHANGE ORDER in your subject line

How do I change my delivery address?

Please reach out to our customer service info@flanerfragrances.com Let us know as soon as you can and we will do our best to update the address before it ships! Please use “shipping address change” in your subject line.

So we offer Samples?

We dont offer free samples at this time. There is a discovery set that allows you to explore our collection. Alternatively there is the option to purchase 1.5ml samples on our product page.

What Ingredients do you use?

Our perfumes are 100% vegan, never tested on animals and are, without exception paraben/phthalate free.

We use both natural and synthetic materials in all of our products. There is arguement around the naturals vs synthetics in perfume - and its often misunderstood. Just because its 'natural' doesnt make it better.

Benefits of Olive Wax

Starting this journey into candles opened up a new world. Simply saying using a eco-friendly wax wasnt enough for us

Society is becoming more aware of the harmful chemicals in products - as we strive towards a greener, more ethical and sustainable future. 

So, why not simply Soy Wax? Soy is a natural alternative to Paraffin which comes from a renewable source - the soy plant. However it has a relatively harsh ethical footprint.  Whilst the soy plant is a natural product - soy wax isnt. Soy candles can contain paraffin, palm oil or use palm oil in its manufacturing process. Add into thie that soy grown on an industrial scale has a multitiure of negative environmental and socio-economic impacts - simply being a plant doesnt make it eco-friendly

The growth of the soy industry has resulted in deforestation, land and habitiat loss. Removing old growth forests for soy plantations means carbon sequestration is lost. Soil erosion, water availabilty, farming and agrochemicals, mono cultures, humanitatian issues, the depressing list continues.

So Olive Wax

Olive wax comes from ethical sources and is produced without chemicals or palm oil or genetically modified plants

Caring for Candles

Our candles are made from olive wax and use a cotton wick. The burn time is approximatly 60 hours. Our glass candle vessels are meant to be reused and repurposed.

There are a few easy steps to maximise your candles burning potential

1. The first burn should be long enough to liquify the surface layer to the edges - approximatly 2/3 hours. This will prevent tunnelling or cratering.

2. Keep your wicks trimmed to a 0.5 cm prior to each light to avoid smoking and overheating the glass. Trim away any mushrooming you may experience (which is a natural thing in our 100% cotton wicks)

3. Always protect the surface on which the candle sits and keep out of draft.

4. Do not burn for more than four hours at a time.

5. Once lit - do not move your candle and certainly never leave it unattended.
